Certain pets in the care of Pet Resources and/or their records may not be available for adoption or release pending a determination of ownership rights and/or legal consent, such as during stray hold times or active abuse investigations. Please be advised that the County will maintain copies of all medical records produced while the pet was in the County’s care and custody and may release them to the public if requested.

All adoptions must be done in person at the Pet Resource Center during regular operating hours, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information on a pet or the adoption process, call (813) 744-5660.
