03-AUG-24 - Foster - 08/03/24 14:42 Foster Adventure Tail: Bridgette is such a sweet, gentle, calm girl! She hopped into the car on her own with ease. She rode quietly in the car while enjoying the sights outside the window. We stopped to get a pup cup which she loved!! We then went for a nice long walk through a nature preserve. She walked beautifully on the leash, never pulling once. She loved exploring and stopping to sniff. She took treats very gently too. Then, we stopped by my house for some down time. She appears house trained, had no accidents. She also didn't bark at all. She is such a cuddle bug and loves getting pets!! She sniffed some of my cat's toys and beds and didn't seem interested. I don't think she noticed my cat who was up high. She was very easily redirected when she became interested in the cat food. Overall, Bridgette is an eager to please, easy going girl! She would make a great companion as she seems to be very go with the flow.

29-JUL-24 - Interact - 07/29/24 16:57 - Bridgette had a meet and greet with 2 adults and 1 child. Staff had no issues leashing her in her kennel and walking her to the yard. In the yard she sniffed around and did her business. Then she came over and solicited attention from the members of the meet and greet. When another dog was put in the yard next to her she showed interest by looking at the dog and sniffing at the other dog through the fence. She walked well back to her kennel and was no issues to unleash. BP

27-JUL-24 - Interact - Bridgette was easy to retrieve from the kennel and walked well to the yard. In the yard, Bridgette approached the staff members to recieve pets. She wondered around the yard to relieve herself and often approached the staff for affection. She was easy to return to the kennel. JB

18-JUL-24 - Interact - 07/17/24 Per volunteer: Bridgette was easy to leash and had a slight pull to play yard. She ran around the yard and runs for toys but does not engage with it. She sits for treats and takes them gently. She solicited for pets. She was easily returned back to the kennel.

28-JUN-24 - Interact - 06/28/24 12:38 Bridgette was standing at the door when I went to get her, she allowed me to leash her easily and walked without any pulling out of the kennel. We walked around the outdoor play yards making our way to AD where her new kennel would be. Once in AD she went right into the kennel and stood next to me while i placed her blanket on the bed and unleashed without any problems. She briefly wanted to follow me out towards the door but didn't caue any issues or try to dart out when I was out. JEH

Pet profiles are updated every thirty minutes with the pet's status updated every fifteen minutes, seven days a week. Watch the ADOPT Tutorial Video for navigation help.

Certain pets in the care of Pet Resources and/or their records may not be available for adoption or release pending a determination of ownership rights and/or legal consent, such as during stray hold times or active abuse investigations. Please be advised that the County will maintain copies of all medical records produced while the pet was in the County’s care and custody and may release them to the public, if requested.
