Comment: 13-JUN-25 - Interact - 6/11/25 Per volunteer: Waluigi walked well on leash and he played gently in the yard.
Comment: 30-MAY-25 - Behavior - 05/30/25 Waluigi engaged with an altercation between two other dogs during playgroup. He was able to be pulled away by the collar then handed to a volunteer. The volunteer did not have a leash and attempted to walk him out of the yard by a collar so he turned and bit her arm, letting go immediately after. The volunteer was wearing two bite sleeves and the bite caused immediate bruising but no broken skin. -CR
Comment: 11-MAY-25 - Interact - 05/07/25 Waluigi greeted staff at the kennel door with a loose posture and was easily leashed. He walked well past the neighboring kennels and once in the yard he sniffed the perimeter. Waluigi solicited attention from both staff members and allowed them both to pet him. He repeatedly leaned against the staff member when they would stop petting him. Waluigi sat for treats and took them nicely. He walked well back to his kennel and was easily unleashed. CS
Comment: 03-MAY-25 - Foster - 05/03/25 18:27 Adventure tail: Waluigi was the most amazing boy today! When we first picked him up we went straight to Starbucks to get him a pup cup, which he loved, and then we headed over to my grandma's house so he could have a place to run around as much as he wanted. In the car he was great! He did seem a little nervous at times, nothing crazy at all, just he never really settled down. Once we arrived at my grandmas we walked him on the leash for a bit and he was great! Slight pull right of the bat but after he sniffed for a bit there was no pull at all. He met my friend and my grandparents and did great with all of them! He is so affectionate and was basically attached to my hip the whole time. He had the best time out on the boat today! He is such a calm dog and loved being out on the water, it was so cute! Overall, Waluigi was the best boy ever!

Comment: 18-APR-25 - Interact - 4/17/25 Per volunteer: Waluigi was easy to leash, and he walked with only a slight pull and showing no reactivity towards other dogs on the way to the play yard. Waluigi solicited for pets from head to tail and often. He is treat motivated and knows how to sit for his treats and is learning to take them gently. He was not interested in the toys. We went for a walk around the parking lot and he walked well with a minimal pull and easy steerability. He alerted to a cat, but did not pull towards it. Back in the yard, he accepted more treats and a few more pets. He was easy to return to and unleash in his kennel.
Comment: 17-APR-25 - Interact - 4/16/25 Per volunteer: Waluigi was jumping in his kennel. He walked easily to the garden. He sniffed around the first 5 minutes with no interest in me. The rest of the time, he was more interested in attention and allowed pets all over.
Comment: 07-APR-25 - Note - 02/27/25 12:27 Waluigi is friendly towards staff but he does mouth a little when being handled and attempted to eat everything in staff's hands as if it were a treat. He stays very loose but he did tense up when vaccinating and would thrash out of staffs arms when restraining. He walks on leash with a slight pull forward -DMC
Comment: 02-APR-25 - Interact - 04/02/25 12:57 Waluigi was jumping at the gate when staff approached to take him out. He was easy to leash and walked with a slight pull to the yard. He sniffed around at first and then came over to the staff for attention.At one point in the yard he was barking and running along the fence at another dog passing by. He was easy to return to his kennel. -ZM

He sat for treats and leaned into me for attention and pets. He had no reaction to barking dogs when walking to or from the kennel. Waluigi was easy to unleash.

Sat upon request for treats. Did become a little jumpy for more snacks, was redirected easily. Nice walk back and easy to unleash.
